Today is a day of many emotions for each of you. Some are experiencing a sense of peace they have not experienced in awhile. Others are feeling great stress, pain, or anger. Today, in this moment, choose to feel peace. You may only be able to do this for a minute, or a few minutes, but nonetheless, stop what you are doing, breathe, relax, and release any stress in your body. Allow yourself to feel a sense of peace, calm, and love coming over you.
You often believe that you need to DO so much. Work, work, work, and work. Or, you may feel you need to pray, meditate, jump into service to others, or try to fix, change, or control what is happening in your immediate external environment. We would like to suggest that the message for today is to do the opposite of what you are normally programmed to do when you are feeling a bit stressed. It may not feel natural at first, but it will become easier over time as you practice simply letting go, relaxing, and feeling the peace that is always available to you.
There is no magic formula for living, but there is an easy, simple choice you can make in each moment. You can choose to react in this exact moment in time by feeling anxious and worried, or you can choose to breathe, choose the feeling of peace, and allow the calm to envelop you.
By choosing peace and calm in this moment and each subsequent moment, you are changing your own consciousness, reprogramming your mind, and contributing to the wellness of the planet.
Choose peace, moment by moment, and all will fall into place.
